Have you ever wondered, "Who is the artist behind Sparkling Punk?" Well if you ever have here is the place to find out!🖤
First off hello and welcome! My name is Rocio Jimenez, but some call me Rosy. I am not only a Halloween year-round small business owner and artist, but I also live a Halloween 365 lifestyle!
Halloween is everywhere in my life from my:

I have ALWAYS been obsessed with Halloween. I grew up making my own Halloween costumes and doing fun special effects make-up at a young age. I even made my own blood at home for a costume when I was 12.
Some of you might have found me through my small business Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Channel and others might have found me from my personal Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Channel. But fun fact, I have been posting about my life online since I was 9 years old. It started by me recording cringe YouTube videos of me vlogging to dancing to hanging out with my friends. Then slowly evolved to me posting on Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, etc. I have always seen online as a place where I can post about my life and made my social media platforms my life journal. So I am a bit of a content creator, but rarely ever say anything unless someone recognizes me, which lately has been happening a lot more.
It is funny to be a content creator because I feel that many people that are content creators are actually very awkward and introverted in person, which when it comes to me, I am an omnivert, so I have my moments.
A question I commonly get asked is where I am from and where are my parents from, so let me tell you. My parents emigrated from Culiacán and Michoacán, Mexico before I was born, so I am a first generation Mexican American woman. I am originally from Orange County, California, but don't let that fool you. I didn't grow up rich by any means. I grew up in a low income family that constantly was moving around to different apartment complexes since rent kept getting too expensive for my family to afford. And my childhood was full of more lows than highs, especially coming from a divorced broken home. Due to my past, I have my fair share of mental health issues from depression, anxiety, and ADHD, but I try my best to cope.
Since money was always tight, growing up I was the child that always got creative. I remember my mom taking me with her to work at the hair salon and she would have one of her co-workers take care of me. This lovely old woman would bring me coloring books, puzzles, and craft supplies. I truly believe this is where my love for it all began. I loved drawing, hand embroidering tea towels, crocheting scarfs, making beaded bracelets, making lanyards, and I even saw my moms manager knitting one time and asked if she could teach me. I eventually turned into that kid that was trying to sell beaded animal keychains. As I always say, I was like that girl in Napoleon Dynamite with her tote bin cart of keychains.
When I graduated high school in 2017, I decided to move to Austin, Texas to not only follow my dream of going to art school, but live near my older brother, and work with him too. My dream of art school was very short lived and I found it a huge waste of time and money, so after my first quarter of school I decided to drop out and continue pursing my career in the Technology field following in my older brothers footsteps. Doing this was by far the best thing I could've done for my life.
Now, jumping to current day. I am still working in the Technology industry, but have made my way up the ladder from the bottom. While also running my spooky year-round artist small business and being a content creator.
Now that pretty much sums up me in a nutshell without getting too deep into the sad stuff. But follow me along for the journey to learn more about me, my Halloween lifestyle, Halloween fashion, Halloween home décor, and artist small business tips.
Thanks so much for being here my Spooky people.
Stay Spooky.👻🖤💜💚🧡
